Why Axe throwing!?

Axe throwing is the newest and most exciting new activity across the UK, typically a woodland nature activity. We are pleased to be able to bring our Badaxe stands to any event! Axe throwing is very similar to darts but with axes and is surprisingly it is more about timing and technique rather than power. The targets have a points system which is similar to darts which cab be used for friendly competitions.

Axe Coach included!

Our stands all come with your very own on hand professional axe coach or “Axestructer” who will teach the skills and technique to split some timber and become an expert thrower in no time!

We don’t just bring one of kind axe stands. You also have free theming for your event with your very own custom targets. Realise your true Viking with Viking targets or maybe, Star Wars with Darth Vader targets. The choices are endless.

The Axe Trailer!

This custom built one of a kind trailers can be set up for a two target or four lane targets set up. With four targets that’s a lot of Axe Throwing. Our stands can be hired for a half day or full day and all prices include set up, as well as unlimited targets, participants and throws. (Prices do not include travel).

We offer discounted hire rates for multiple activities e.g Axe Throwing and Archery

Our wooden hickory stand is a two target stand and is the only Axe Throwing stand in the UK that can be built indoors and outside! As the cage is built for each event this also means it can be also set up in places that trailer stands cannot get to.

The stand is fully enclosed and can be booked with a variety of theming for each event. As this stand must built for each event there is an additional £100 set up fee.

Axe throwing is not hugely physically demanding however you must be in good health to participate. South West Adventure Centre staff reserve the right to refuse anyone from participating in this activity at any time before and/or during this activity. Customer and staff safety is of paramount importance to us.
